Walking into my studio, you might think you need years of artistic experience to create these pieces, but that is the beauty of tufting. Every rug and wall hanging you see here was made by a first-timer just like you in a single three-hour session. I provide all the materials and guidance you need, so you can stop worrying about the design and just focus on the satisfying rhythm of making something with your hands.
Whether you want a funky rug for your bedside or a custom wall hanging for your desk, the process is surprisingly chill and addictive. In our 3-hour beginner sessions, we take you from a blank frame to a finished piece. You start by tracing your design on the monk's cloth, and then you learn the rhythm of the electric tufting gun. I will show you how to handle the gun safely, how to feed the yarn, and how to create those clean lines for your patterns.
My studio in Langford Town is designed to be a safe, colorful space where you can disconnect from the city noise. We offer two main workshop formats to fit your needs:
- 8-Inch Mini Session: Perfect if you are just starting out and want to try something quick, like a geometric coaster or a simple initial rug.
- 14-Inch Standard Session: This gives you more room to experiment with characters, logos, or complex floral motifs. You can even pair up with a friend to tackle a larger design together.
All materials are included, from the vibrant yarn to the frames. I also handle the backing, gluing, and final shearing so you leave with a polished piece ready to display. It is the perfect plan for a date night, a girls' day out, or just some quality solo time.
