Private Rug Tufting Workshop
Core Activity & Equipment
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours of dedicated studio time.
- Rug Options: Choice between a Mini 8 inch rug or a Standard 14 inch rug.
- Equipment: Individual high speed Cut Pile Tufting Gun and pre stretched vertical wooden frame.
Materials & Supplies
- Yarn: Unlimited access to colorful acrylic yarns.
- Design: Projector usage to trace digital images onto the cloth.
- Finishing: Latex carpet adhesive, backing felt, and binding tape included.
Guidance & Post Processing
- Instruction: Step by step tutorial on gun safety and tufting techniques.
- Finishing Service: Staff assists with gluing, shearing, and trimming.
- Takeaway: Rugs are finished and ready to take home on the same day.

- Venue: Available at the Langford Town or JP Nagar studio, or as a mobile setup.

- Paints & Resin: Acrylic colors with pouring medium or high gloss epoxy resin with hardener.
- Decor: Metallic paints, mica powders, dried pressed flowers, and glitter.

We kicked off The Stringlights Store in 2017, but honestly, making stuff with our hands is in our blood. Once spent forever stitching a top from tiny hexies – still proud of that! We’re not just about art, it’s about locking in memories, like resin keepsakes or that one rose you want to keep forever.
