About The Crafting Process
You do not need an artistic background to get started with punch needle; it is essentially like drawing with yarn. During our workshops, I guide you through the process of threading the needle and creating that satisfying, loopy texture on Monk's cloth, which is why most people find the repetitive motion so calming. We keep the sessions small and social, so whether you are coming with a friend or solo, you will have all the support needed to finish your first coaster or charm in just a few hours.
What to Expect
Our workshops are designed to be a break from the daily routine. We create a relaxed, adda-like atmosphere where you can learn, chat, and enjoy some snacks. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking for a new hobby, we have you covered.
The Process
- Getting Started: I show you how to set up your hoop and thread the punch needle correctly.
- The Technique: You learn the rhythmic motion of punching through Monk's cloth to create raised loops. We focus on simple shapes, which makes it perfect for your first piece.
- Finishing Touches: I teach you how to secure your work, apply backing, and turn your creation into a functional item like a coaster, magnet, or keychain.
What You Get
All materials are included in the workshop fee. You will receive a punch needle tool, an embroidery hoop, Monk's cloth, and plenty of colorful yarn to choose from. You also get a printed or PDF guide to help you keep practicing your new hobby at home.
Where We Meet
We host our workshops at various partner cafes and studios across the city, including Tsala Studio in Langford Town and Fired Up in Whitefield. These spots provide the perfect cozy backdrop for a Sunday afternoon of crafting.

Anyone aged 10 and up is welcome. This is a wonderful activity for solo crafters, mother-daughter duos, or a group of friends looking for something fun and creative to do in Bengaluru.
