About Outdoor & Pandal Setups
When setting up outdoors or under a pandal, space and weather are the real factors to watch. I always visit the site first to check how we can anchor the structures securely, especially for those heavy balloon arches and backdrops, so the wind does not ruin the look before the party even starts.
Outdoor events bring a different kind of energy, but they need careful planning compared to indoor home celebrations. If you are hosting a celebration in an open compound or a rented pandal, I focus on the basics: structural stability and visibility.
Pandal Ceilings & Lighting
I use colorful fabric draping for ceilings to bring that cozy, indoor feel to your open space. Adding LED par cans and neon signs is essential for these setups, ensuring the area stays bright and inviting even after sunset.
The Stage Setup
For outdoor birthday parties or baby showers, I suggest a 10x8 ft stage setup to act as the main focal point. Using a box truss or a sturdy wooden frame ensures it stays steady. For events like Dohale Jevan, this stage is perfect for highlighting the jhula (swing) or floral moon prop, giving you a clear area for photos.
Tailored Props for Open Spaces
Whether it is a traditional naming ceremony with a floral moon or a kid’s birthday with Cocomelon themes and character cutouts, I tailor the props to the environment. I use balloon garlands and arches to define the entryways, which makes a big difference in open areas where there are no natural walls to frame the party.
Logistics & Weather
If you are located in Panvel, Kharghar, or Taloja, I handle all the transport and setup logistics. I always suggest having a backup power source if you want to include heavy effects like fog machines or cold pyros.
