Balcony Makeovers in Bangalore: From Drab to Fab
Seeing is believing. I turn plain, unused balconies into cosy 'sukoon' (peace) spots. Here is a look at the magic we create, from boring corners to beautiful retreats.
A quick look at how we take a simple, empty balcony and transform it into a stylish and functional outdoor space. Every makeover is a little bit of magic.
This is a great example of a simple yet elegant makeover. We used a combination of wooden deck tiles and artificial grass to define the space, adding a picket fence and plants to hide utilities and create a clean look.
We transformed this small, boring space into a wow balcony. The project involved installing a custom metal and pinewood rack for decor, adding a tall Calathea Lutea plant for height, and finishing with track lighting and a comfy seating cushion.
This client wanted a cozy place to relax in an oddly shaped balcony. We added a leafy screen for privacy, lush green grass, a comfy reclining chair, and some quirky wall decor to create a beautiful and personal retreat.
In just a second, you can see the complete transformation of this balcony. We used the beauty of wood and grass, with contrasting colors to make the design pop and create a stunning new seat out area.
Sometimes all a balcony needs is a touch of green. Here, we simply added high quality artificial grass to completely change the feel of the space, making it instantly more beautiful and inviting.
A simple and elegant makeover. We used wooden deck tiles for the floor, a small picket fence to corner off a plant area, and a mix of artificial plants for a zero maintenance solution.
We took this cluttered corner and turned it into a peaceful cafe style seating area. By adding a simple wicker table and chairs, we created a perfect spot for morning coffee.
This is what I call Koolkraft magic. We took a bare wall with an exposed pipe and turned it into a beautiful, well lit space with a green wall and cozy seating.
A look at the before and after of another Koolkraft makeover. We love taking on these transformations and delivering a space the client will love.
About From Drab to Fab: Balcony Transformations
It isn't just about throwing down some grass and calling it done. A true transformation starts with understanding how you use your balcony, whether it's for morning coffee, a quiet reading nook, or just hiding that unsightly AC unit. I sketch out a layout that fits your specific dimensions before my team starts any physical installation, ensuring we don't just decorate, but actually solve your space problems.
How We Make It Happen
My team and I handle everything from floor to ceiling to make sure your space is functional and beautiful. We don't just add decor; we build.
- The Foundation: We use 35mm-45mm pile height artificial grass for a lush feel, or interlocking Acacia wood tiles for a warmer, natural look. We always handle the adhesive and border detailing with white river pebbles so it looks neat.
- The Walls: We use pinewood paneling or vertical artificial gardens. These are great for adding privacy or covering up exposed pipes and boring concrete walls without losing floor space.
- Custom Furniture: Everything is made by us. If you need a 4ft storage bench to tuck away cleaning supplies or a foldable table for your workspace, we build it to fit your balcony's size perfectly.
Why Start a Transformation?
People often think balconies are too small or oddly shaped to be useful. I've worked on every type of space, from compact apartment balconies in Whitefield to large terrace areas. A makeover isn't just about aesthetics; it's about reclaiming your outdoor space.
Our Process
- Chat: You tell me what you want and show me your inspiration pictures.
- Sketch: I create a rough layout. We tweak it until you are happy with the design and the budget.
- Makeover: My team comes in, installs the flooring, sets up the furniture, and we do a deep clean before leaving.
If you want a cafe-style corner or a Zen retreat, just send me a message. Let's make your balcony a spot you actually want to spend time in.
