Since I make every piece myself using natural cotton or recycled yarns, my work is a slow, steady process rather than mass production. I do not use acrylics or harsh synthetic materials, so you get baby blankets and sweaters that are soft on sensitive skin and safe for newborns.
When you choose handmade items for your baby, you are choosing breathability and comfort. I avoid acrylic yarns entirely because they can be scratchy and synthetic. Instead, I rely on soft cotton, milk cotton, and recycled t-shirt yarns that feel gentle against a newborn's skin.
