Ashtavinayak and Spiritual Guru Paintings
I paint to find peace, capturing the divine aura of figures like Swami Samarth and Ganpati on canvas. Here is a look at my spiritual art collection.
This video captures the entire journey of the 5x4 ft Swami Samarth and Dattaguru painting. It shows the canvas stretching, the initial sketching, the detailed painting process, and me with the final, completed artwork.

This is a digital mockup showing how the Swami Samarth and Dattaguru painting can look as a centerpiece in a home's prayer or living area. Its large size and spiritual theme make it a powerful focal point.
A close-up detail of the Swami Samarth painting. I focused on capturing a serene and knowing expression, with careful attention to the lines on his face and the traditional markings on his body.
This video shows the creation of my Shri Mayureshwar Ganpati painting. Using a reference photo, I begin with a pencil sketch and then apply layers of acrylic paint to bring the vibrant orange deity and the ornate silver arch to life.
The finished 1x1 ft painting of Shri Mayureshwar Ganpati, one of the Ashtavinayak temples. The piece is framed and ready to be placed in a home, with the mantra 'Sankatamurti Vidnahara Durit Nashana Kripa Kara' written below.

About Ashtavinayak & Gurus: Ganesha, Swami Samarth & Saints
For these spiritual pieces, I focus heavily on the expression, using layered acrylics to give depth to icons like Swami Samarth and the Ashtavinayak. Every canvas is finished with a double coat of varnish to protect against dust, ensuring these artworks stay vibrant in your home prayer area for years.
My process is rooted in devotion. Before I pick up a brush, I spend time with the reference, trying to capture not just the image, but the energy of the deity. For smaller 1x1 ft devotional pieces, I use high-pigment acrylics on hand-stretched cotton canvas. These come ready to hang with an ornamental frame, making them perfect for your personal shrine or as a gift.
For larger, narrative-driven works like my 4x5 ft Swami Samarth paintings, I use a heavy-duty canvas. These pieces require a different approach. I often utilize texture paste to add 3D effects to jewelry or garlands, creating a sculpted feel that draws the eye. Because these large canvases are substantial, I ship them as rolled canvases in PVC tubes to ensure they reach you safely, allowing you to stretch them locally.
Customization is central to my work. If you have a specific vision—perhaps a scene with Sant Tukaram and Lord Vitthal or a specific form of Ganpati—we start with a sketch. I share work-in-progress photos throughout the layering process so you can see the details come together. Whether it is a single deity composition or a complex scene with scenic backgrounds, my goal is to create a piece that brings a sense of calm and spiritual connection to your living space.
