My process at Kivlo Jewels is all about efficiency and creativity. We start by looking at your pieces, whether it is a collection of mismatched earrings, a pendant you stopped wearing years ago, or even men's kurta buttons. We then sketch a new design, keeping as much of your original gold as possible. We add gold to gold, so you never lose the weight or the sentiment. We use techniques like hand fabrication to reshape the metal, adding Kundan, uncut diamonds, or semi-precious stones to give it a modern, fresh look. Many of my clients come to me with single earrings, thinking they are useless. We transform those into a complete set, like a ring and a pendant, or use the motifs to create a new pair of earrings. Because we are based in Opera House, I see clients from all over Mumbai who want to avoid the high cost of buying new gold in this market.
