I personally select every fabric, from raw silk to traditional brocades, and ensure the handles are sturdy enough to carry your phone and makeup through a long wedding night. These aren't just pouches. They are designed to match the specific color palettes of your lehengas or sarees, often finished with pearl or zari tassels that I attach by hand to ensure they do not snag your delicate fabrics.
My design philosophy for these bags is simple. A potli should be functional yet beautiful enough to act as an accessory, not just a storage pouch. For these, I focus on soft, pliable fabrics like raw silk, brocade, and jacquard. Every piece is lined with satin or velvet to protect your belongings.
