Custom Storytelling & Portrait Bridal Mehndi
Your love story etched in henna. From portraits and wedding vows to meaningful symbols, I create custom bridal mehndi designs that capture exactly what your journey means to you.
A perfect example of a custom story. This design includes bride and groom portraits, their initials, and a Ganesha motif for blessings, creating a truly personal piece of art for their wedding day.
Incorporate your faith into your bridal henna. This design is a tribute to divine love, with portraits of Shiva-Parvati on the palms and Radha-Krishna on the arms, surrounded by intricate patterns.
Capturing the moment of 'I do'. This design features a beautiful varmala ceremony portrait, with the bride and groom exchanging garlands, a cherished memory immortalized in henna.
A design that blends devotion and romance. One hand depicts a bride worshipping a Shivling, while the other shows her getting ready, showcasing different parts of her personal journey.
For a truly modern and personal touch, I can create realistic portraits from your photos. This unique design features lifelike henna portraits of the couple on each palm.
This full-arm design tells a story in bands, featuring portraits of a bride and groom, elephants symbolizing good luck, and beautiful peacock and lotus motifs.
Your initials and story, beautifully integrated. This design features the couple's initials 'AL' and a portrait of a bride in her doli, symbolizing her journey to a new home.
About this collection
Getting a portrait or custom story done requires more than just henna skills; it needs a steady hand and a clear reference photo. I suggest having 2-3 high-resolution photos of the specific moments or portraits you want to replicate ready beforehand. When we sit down, we will sketch the placement first to ensure the proportions on your palm look perfect, as fine-tip cones make a huge difference in capturing facial details clearly.
Whether you want your first meeting spot, the varmala ceremony, or a portrait of your partner, I treat every design as a piece of narrative art. I use fine-tip cones specifically designed for realistic sketches, which allows me to add depth and shadow that traditional henna styles often miss.
Designing Your Personal Narrative
Most brides come to me with a collection of ideas. You do not need to have a final sketch in mind. We can combine elements—maybe a jharokha (palace window) frame around a portrait of the groom, or a scene depicting your proposal on one hand and a sacred symbol like Ganesha or Om on the other. Because I use 100% organic henna, these intricate designs get a deep, rich stain that lasts through the wedding festivities.
Practical Steps for Your Booking
- Trial & Sensitivity: I always offer a complimentary trial strip. This is not just to test the color but to see how your skin reacts to the essential oils in my mix.
- Planning: Portrait work is time-intensive. For an elbow-length storytelling design, expect the application to take 4 to 6 hours. I recommend clearing your schedule for the day so we do not rush the fine details.
- Home Service: If you are in Noida, I come to your home. For destination weddings or outside NCR, please reach out early, as travel dates fill up months in advance during the peak wedding season (November to January).
By integrating your story into the mehndi, the final design becomes more than just a pattern—it becomes a keepsake of the moments leading up to your wedding day.
