Our Artistic Journey and Creative Philosophy
We started as five artists with a wild idea: that wall art in India could be a serious career. Here is the story of how we turned paint and passion into a collective that transforms offices and public spaces.
From humble beginnings in 2015 to completing over 100 commercial projects by 2024. This video tells our story of turning a passion for wall painting into a thriving career, proving that art has a powerful place in the professional world.

On the TEDx stage, we discussed the inspirations that fuel our work, including the visionary architect Charles Correa. We believe in learning from the masters to create meaningful public and corporate art.
A moment of reflection during a speaking engagement. We use these opportunities to share insights into our creative process and advocate for the power of art in building community.
Our founding team, united by a common goal. We are a group of artists who believe in the power of teamwork to achieve ambitious creative goals and deliver exceptional work for our clients.
Speaking about our journey and the lessons learned along the way. Every project is a story, and we are passionate about sharing ours to inspire others.
Presenting our work and our vision for collaborative art. We aim to demystify the creative process and show how anyone can be part of making something beautiful.
Sharing our story is as important as creating our art. It allows us to connect with a wider audience and explain the 'why' behind our work in transforming spaces.
About Our Story & Philosophy
When we started in 2015, the common belief was that wall painting was not a sustainable career in India. We faced plenty of skepticism, but we pushed forward, treating every blank wall as an opportunity to test our limits. Today, having completed over 100 commercial projects, that 'extreme sport' mentality is still at the heart of how we work—we do not just paint, we solve problems through art.
Our path was anything but linear. We are five artists who were the odd ones out in our families, choosing to chase 'Khwaab' (dreams) instead of the traditional career path. It was dramatic, full of struggle, and required us to conquer the fear of heights at 100ft and endure the sun and rain.
The Kalakarah Philosophy
We believe that art is a medium for transformation. Every wall is a canvas, and every project is a narrative. We do not believe in prints; everything is hand-painted from sketch to finish. Our work is a mix of Indian styles like Madhubani and Kalamkari, blended with modern graffiti and galaxy themes. This fusion is what we call our 'Zaat'—the essence of our creative spirit.
Why We Collaborate
We have realized that art is a powerful tool for community building. Whether it is a collaborative mural workshop for a corporate team or a 3D installation for a public space, we involve clients and their staff in the process. We have seen teams at companies like TVS and Bangalore Airport open up and connect while they paint. It is not about everyone being an artist; it is about the experience of creating something together that reflects company culture and values.
We have taken our journey from street corners to the TEDx stage, constantly learning from masters like Charles Correa. If you are looking to bring your office space to life, we are ready to bring our 'extreme sport' mentality to your next project.
