About Custom & Storytelling Henna
Why I Do Henna
Henna, for me, is much more than mehndi lagana (applying henna). It’s about turning your story into art, right on your skin. I get a kick from mixing the old-school mehndi with your personal memories. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s pure magic.
How Your Story Comes Alive
I don’t do one-size-fits-all. Your design is full-on custom. Could be:
- Portrait henna art - bride & groom, siblings, even someone you miss
- Symbolic henna motifs like your wedding date, special places, or a tiny ghungroo (ankle bell) if you love dancing
- Details of your journey together - maybe where you first met, or little doodles showing your shared hobbies
Words That Matter
Writing in the mehndi is my thing too:
- Names, dates, initials - classic
- Wedding vows or personal lines tucked into the design. Some brides have their vows hidden in the swirls!
- Messages for family - in English, Hindi, Gujarati, mixed up just how you want
Spiritual Vibes
If you want, I add divine touches - Radha Krishna, Ram Sita, or Dashama. These feel like real blessings on your big day.
Not Just For Brides
Groom, family, Nani (grandma) - anyone can get their own personalised henna. I love chatting, hearing your story, and working it all in. Real talk - every design is different, sometimes it’s simple, sometimes it’s extra detailed, but it’s always yours.

My Story
Hey, I'm Kajal from Mumbai. Mehndi is my heart, not just work. Every time I hold a henna cone, I feel lucky, like I’m part of someone’s big day. Sometimes I add a tiny camera for a photographer groom, or Kathak dancer vibes for a bride. Mixing faith and love – Vitthal Rakhumai, Dashama, and all those divine touches – that’s my thing. Your story, my mehndi, pure magic.
