My style blends the sharp energy of jazz with the free-flowing emotion of contemporary dance. Whether we are working on floor work or complex jazz theory, the focus is always on finding your own vibe.

A short and energetic solo jazz piece I choreographed for my regular batch at Big Dance Centre. This routine is a great example of the fun and upbeat style we explore in my classes.

This solo showcases the technical and flexible side of my jazz choreography. It includes expressive movements, floor work, and a focus on body control, all key elements I teach in my jazz batches.

A glimpse of a solo I created to announce a free intro class. This routine shows the kind of dynamic and engaging jazz choreography you can expect to learn with me, whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer.

Performing my own choreography at the FDTP Camp showcase. This solo is all about performance quality and connecting with the audience, skills I work on with all my students for competitions and events.

A moment of pure expression through contemporary dance. This solo piece is less about structured choreography and more about feeling the music and movement, a key part of my creative process.

About Jazz & Contemporary Routines

You don't need a professional background to start here. In my classes, we strip back the complex performance layers to focus on jazz theory, body control, and posture first. This way, you aren't just memorizing choreography, you are learning how to dance with intention, building the strength and flexibility required to move safely and confidently.

My approach to jazz and contemporary is built on the belief that everyone has their own rhythm. I teach with a focus on 'Next Gen' style—clean lines, precise musicality, and high-energy performance.

Why This Style

Jazz and contemporary are the perfect mix for those who want to build a strong foundation while exploring creative movement. Jazz gives you the discipline—the lines, the core engagement, and the sharp isolation moves. Contemporary brings in the flow—the freedom to interpret the music, use the floor, and express emotion.

What To Expect In Training

  • Foundational Theory: We start with the basics. Jazz is technical, and I make sure you understand the 'why' behind every move. We work on posture, ankle engagement, and core strength to prevent injury and improve your look.
  • Personalized Feedback: I don't believe in one-size-fits-all training. Whether you are in my regular batch or a private session, I observe your unique learning curve and provide feedback on your form.
  • Performance Quality: It isn't just about the steps. I coach on facial expressions, eye contact, and camera blocking. This is crucial if you are training for competitions, weddings, or social media content.

Who This Is For

This is for anyone who wants to push themselves. If you have always wanted to learn jazz funk or contemporary flow but felt intimidated by the technicality, my sessions are designed to break that wall. We keep the learning curve honest, fun, and steady.

Whether you are looking to refine your technique for a stage performance, get better at social media choreography, or just want a consistent space to move your body in Delhi, this is a place for you to learn and grow.
