Gel Polish on Natural Nails (Solid Color)
Preparation
- Deep Cleaning: Dry manicure technique using an e-file to remove dead skin from the nail plate.
- Shaping: Filing natural nails to desired shape (Square, Oval, or Almond).
- Buffing: Light surface buffing to ensure product adhesion.
Application
- Base Layer: Rubber base or standard base coat to protect the natural nail.
- Color: Two coats of high-pigment gel polish (Bluesky or equivalent).
- Finish: High-gloss non-wipe top coat or matte top coat.
Post-Care
- Hydration: Cuticle oil application and light moisturizer massage.
- Durability: Lasts approx. 2 to 3 weeks without chipping.
Classic Nail Extensions (Solid Color)
Structure
- Material: Client choice of Hard Gel, Acrylic, or Polygel.
- Length: Standard salon length (S/M) using tips or sculpting forms.
- Apex Building: Building the stress point for structural integrity to prevent breakage.
Shaping
- Precision Filing: Shaping to standard forms: Square, Squoval, Round, Almond, or Coffin.
- Refining: Machine filing (e-file) to smooth the surface and thin the cuticle area.
Finish
- Color: Solid color application (single tone) across all 10 fingers.
- Top Coat: Glossy or Matte finish.
- Exclusions: Does not include nail art, french tips, or ombre.

Hi, I'm Mini Patankar. I started Just Nails back in 2012, when hardly anyone in India took nails seriously. I just loved turning nails into tiny bits of art, so I dove in headfirst, learning every trick I could.
