Personal Color Analysis at Uniqlo
Seeing how different colors transform a look is one thing, but seeing it happen live at the Uniqlo Spring/Summer preview was special. Here is a glimpse of how I helped guests find their perfect shades.
This was our beautiful setup for the Uniqlo press preview event. We created a dedicated space with a full length mirror and professional clothing rack to provide guests with an authentic and personalized color analysis experience outdoors in natural light.
A look at some of the pieces from Uniqlo's Spring/Summer collection that we used for the analysis. The variety of colors and fabrics available allowed us to find the perfect match for each guest's unique palette, from soft pastels to rich, vibrant hues.
Here I am working with a guest at the Uniqlo event, using the draping method to find her best colors. It was amazing to see the instant "aha" moment on people's faces when they saw how the right shade made their skin look more radiant.
Each analysis is unique. For this guest, we explored warmer, earthier tones to see how they complemented her blonde hair and fair skin. The goal is always to find colors that create harmony and enhance a person's natural beauty.
This is the moment of discovery. After draping, the client can see for herself in the mirror how a particular color brings out a glow in her skin. My job is to guide this discovery and explain why certain shades work so well.
It was fantastic to work with a diverse range of guests, including men who were curious about elevating their style. Here, I'm demonstrating how a cool, crisp blue complements his complexion, offering a great alternative to standard black or grey.

About Proof in Practice: The Uniqlo Collaboration
When I draped those fabrics for Uniqlo guests, the 'aha' moment wasn't just about picking a nice shirt. It was about seeing their skin brighten and eyes pop the second the right shade hit their face. Whether it’s finding your 'True Winter' blue or a warm, earthy tone that complements your complexion, it’s all about creating harmony. You don't need a massive wardrobe to look great; you just need to know which colors make you glow.
The event with Uniqlo highlighted a simple truth: fashion is easier when you know your palette. Using the Korean Personal Color Analysis system (PCCS), I look for undertone, brightness, and saturation. It is a more granular, precise method than the standard 4-season approach you might have seen elsewhere.
Think about the clothes in your closet you rarely wear. Often, it isn't the fit—it is the color. When I work with clients at my Model Town studio or during home visits across Delhi NCR, we use 100+ fabric drapes to find your 'Goldilocks' zone.
Whether you are a bride wanting to step away from generic bridal shades or a professional building a functional capsule wardrobe, knowing your palette stops the 'nothing to wear' cycle. It saves time and money because you stop buying clothes that clash with your natural skin tone. From checking your jewelry metals—gold vs. silver vs. rose gold—to finding your best blush and hair color, we cover it all to ensure you leave feeling clear, sorted, and ready to shop smarter.
