How I Work
I offer two main ways to bring your caricature to life.
Live Sketching: If you are hosting a wedding, reception, or sangeet in Mumbai or elsewhere, I can set up a station to sketch your guests on the spot. It is a great way to keep the energy up and ensures every guest leaves with a personalized souvenir.
Custom Commissions: If you are looking for a gift, you can send me a photo. I work on high-quality, textured paper using archival ink markers and watercolor. For couple portraits, I use a larger A3 format and include a sturdy black synthetic frame so the piece is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
The Process
- Consultation: You tell me what you need, including any specific poses, themes, or text like wedding hashtags you want included.
- The Sketch: I focus on that signature, playful style—big heads, expressive features, and bold lines. I prioritize personality over stiff realism.
- Final Touches: For commissions, I use watercolor shading to add depth and warmth. Each piece is protected in a clear sleeve or frame to keep it safe during shipping.
