My time on the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa stage was a turning point. These performances showcase a mix of Bollywood, Latin, and folk styles created under high pressure, teaching me how to craft a routine that resonates with an audience.

This was my very first performance as a celebrity choreographer on the show, about 15 years ago. This Salsa routine was the start of an incredible journey that shaped my career.

A high-energy Bollywood performance to a song originally featuring Sushmita Sen. It was a challenge to live up to the icon, but my partner and I gave it our all on the stage.

A sensual and romantic Rumba performance. This dance highlights the chemistry and connection required in Latin partner dances, telling a story through every step.

A fiery Bollywood performance to 'Namak Ishq Ka'. The chemistry between partners is key, and this routine was full of energy and playful interaction.

Part one of our 'Nimbuda' performance. This folk-based routine was incredibly fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring immense stamina from both of us.

Part two of the 'Nimbuda' performance, where I learned and executed knee spins for the first time. It was a testament to pushing boundaries and the thrill of mastering a new, difficult skill.

Part one of a gentle and classic Waltz performance. The flowing gown and graceful partner work capture the timeless elegance of this ballroom style.

Part two of our Waltz routine. The softness of the movements and the romantic mood of the song created a beautiful moment on the stage.

A clip from our Waltz performance, showcasing the emotional connection and storytelling that is woven into the dance.

Part two of a powerful performance where my partner danced through a painful rib injury. Her spirit and determination to finish the routine were truly inspiring.

About My Journey on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'

For the Nimbuda folk routine you see here, I learned and executed complex knee spins in just three hours. It was a high-pressure moment that taught me the value of intense focus and quick preparation, skills I now bring to every student I coach.
