About The Vibe: It's All About The Crowd
I don't just show up and sing. Whether it's an intimate house party or a packed festival stage, I constantly scan the crowd to pick the next track. If the vibe shifts or the room is feeling a specific acoustic cover, I adapt the setlist in real-time so the energy never drops.
When you book me for a live show, you aren't just getting a playlist; you are getting a two-way conversation. I take pride in reading the room. If I see people starting to dance during a slower segment, I’ll pivot to something upbeat. If the mood is mellow, I’ll strip it back to acoustic guitar and vocals.
The Setup That Works for You
I generally offer two distinct performance styles to fit the size and tone of your event:
- Solo & Unplugged: Perfect for cozy evenings, house parties, or wedding ceremonies. It’s just me and my guitar, focusing on storytelling and acoustic versions of my originals like 'Pehli Baarish' and popular covers.
- Full Band ('The Maskie Band'): If you want a high-octane 'Stadium Pop' experience, I bring the full band. This is for festivals, corporate gigs, or large celebrations where you need the energy to fill a big venue.
Why I Take It Seriously
Music is fun, but the logistics are serious. I’ve dealt with enough tech trouble on stage to know that soundchecks are non-negotiable. Whether I’m performing in a quiet Bangalore cafe or on a loud stage in Goa, my sound engineer and I ensure the mix is right so that every lyric lands clearly. I treat every show as my only show, so you can expect the same commitment whether it’s a small gathering or a festival crowd.
