About Glowing Alphabet & Globe Lamps
When you send me your varmala, I carefully dehydrate the petals over 7-14 days to lock in their colour and structure. I then layer them into crystal-clear resin, casting them into your chosen letters or a globe, which sits on a custom wooden base that illuminates your memories. Every piece is handmade, meaning each lamp carries unique quirks that make it truly yours.
My studio is where memories find a new life. These glowing lamps are not just decor; they are a way to keep your wedding day or a special milestone bright. The process begins with the flowers you send. Whether it's a varmala from your pheras or a rose from a significant day, I treat these items with the same love you hold for them.
The Process
Dehydration is the most critical step. Using silica sand, I remove moisture from your flowers over two weeks. This preserves the shape and hue, which would otherwise fade. Once ready, I pour the resin in layers. This allows me to embed petals, gold flakes, and pearls, creating a floating effect that catches the light.
Customization
The wooden bases are often engraved with names, dates, or a quote that defines your story. For the globe lamps, the mosaic effect created by multiple small resin pieces produces a beautiful, soft light pattern on your walls. These lamps are USB-powered, making them perfect for your bedside table or as a centerpiece in your living room.
Since everything is handmade by me, expect the little human touches—a tiny bubble or a slight variation in flower placement. That is the charm of 'itsallkindalit'. It is real, it is imperfect, and it is made for you with my own two hands.
