About On-Location & Beach Shoots
Shooting outdoors relies heavily on the time of day rather than controlled studio bulbs. We prefer working during the golden hour, shortly after sunrise or just before sunset, when the light is softest and Mumbai's beaches are at their best. This creates a natural glow that is difficult to replicate indoors, though it does require us to coordinate around tides and public footfall.
An on-location shoot requires different preparation than a studio session. While a studio gives you total control over the backdrop, a beach or park shoot offers scale and atmosphere. We bring our professional lighting gear, such as our Godox AD series, to these locations to ensure your portraits remain crisp and well-lit against the natural environment.
We often suggest choosing a location that holds meaning for you, whether it is a quiet stretch of beach or a scenic park in the Mumbai metropolitan area. Because these are public spaces, we typically aim for weekday mornings or late afternoons to avoid the weekend crowds. This allows us to focus entirely on your shots without distractions.
Regarding your outfits, we advise wearing something comfortable that allows for movement, as walking on sand or grass is part of the experience. We can also coordinate the use of props like smoke bombs to add a dynamic element to your outdoor photos. If you are worried about posing, do not be.
