Behind the Lens: How We Capture Your Moments
A look at my process, from the first directive to the final shot that tells your story.
Here's a quick look at my process. This video shows me in action, directing a bridal portrait session, and then reveals the beautiful, professionally captured final images of the radiant Maharashtrian bride.
About Behind the Lens
You might wonder how a photo goes from a simple pose to the final, radiant shot you see in my gallery. It all starts with conversation. I don't just stand in the corner with a camera. I guide you through slight adjustments, help you relax, and find the right light, so you never feel awkward in front of the lens.
Behind every great wedding photo is a lot of preparation. For these couple portraits, I look for quiet corners away from the wedding crowd. It gives you a few minutes to breathe and connect with each other, which is when the most emotional images happen. It is not just about clicking buttons; it is about creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself.
I use a mix of candid and portrait styles for every event. For portraits, like the ones you see here, I set the scene—fixing the drape of the Nauvari saree, adjusting the lighting for that perfect glow—but the expression is always yours. My camera, whether it is the Nikon Z series or Sony Alpha, is just a tool to capture the 'fulle re kshan' (the moment it blooms). Whether it is a grand Maharashtrian ceremony or an intimate engagement, my goal is to document the raw, honest side of your celebration. My process is to be present, observant, and ready to catch those fleeting moments that make your 'navjeevanachi sundar suruvaat' (beautiful start to a new life) truly yours.
