Personalized Wedding Menus & Place Cards
From hand-lettered wooden name plates to wax-sealed menus, I help you add personal, tangible details to your event tables.
I loved creating this custom dinner menu for a Mexican-themed date night. It combines soft watercolor florals, elegant calligraphy, a translucent vellum wrap, and a beautiful wax seal. This shows how we can work together to create stationery that perfectly matches the theme and mood of your special event.
Here is a look at over 50 custom wooden name plates I created for a corporate event. Each name is handwritten in elegant calligraphy, showing my ability to work on unique surfaces like wood and handle large-scale orders for weddings or brand activations, ensuring every guest feels personally welcomed.
I love how metallic inks catch the light. Here are some simple place cards with a pink and blue watercolor wash, brought to life with names written in shimmering gold calligraphy. It's a small detail that adds a lot of sparkle to your table setting.

Each name is carefully written to fit the space, creating a collection of unique yet uniform place settings. This is perfect for adding a personal touch to large weddings, dinners, or corporate functions.

About Event Day Stationery: Menus & Place Cards
Getting the place cards right is about more than just clear handwriting. Whether I am working on rough-hewn wooden blocks or delicate watercolor paper, I always test how the ink settles on that specific surface before I start the final batch. When you are planning for fifty guests or five hundred, that consistency in how the gold or black ink sits is what makes the setup feel intentional and truly personal for each attendee.
Making Your Event Feel Like You
I believe your event stationery should guide your guests and also act as a keepsake. You don't want a generic print-out on your table when you can have something that fits your color palette and mood.
Surfaces and Styles
I work on more than just standard paper. I love experimenting with different materials to match the theme of your day.
- Wood: I have done several projects using wooden blocks, which add a warm, organic feel to rustic or corporate events. The challenge here is the grain, so I plan the calligraphy spacing to ensure it looks crisp.
- Acrylic: If you want something modern and sleek, acrylic blocks work beautifully, especially when paired with metallic inks.
- Paper & Vellum: For the classic romantic look, I create layered menus using watercolor washes, vellum jackets, and wax seals. These layers allow us to hide the menu details until your guest opens the seal.
The Details That Matter
It is the small touches that stay with people. A wax seal in a custom color, a deckle edge on a card, or a metallic ink flourish that catches the light in the evening—these are the things I obsess over. My goal is to make sure your guests feel seen the moment they sit down at their table.
How We Start
We don't need a massive, rigid plan. You tell me about your event theme, your colors, and the vibe you are going for, and we figure out the rest. Whether you want a playful 'Yaar, help me run this shaadi!' note on a card or a formal, elegant menu for a gala, I am here to help you get the details right.
