Bringing a puppy home is a big life change. I help you build a solid foundation early with positive, luring-based methods that make learning fun for both of you.

This is Max, a 60-day-old Labrador puppy, learning the 'place' command. Teaching a dog to go to a designated spot is fundamental for creating a calm and structured home environment, even for the youngest pups.

Here's 60-day-old Lhasa Apso puppy, CoCo, learning the 'down' command for the first time. I use luring and positive rewards to make learning easy and fun for the little ones.

This Golden Retriever puppy is learning the 'place' command. This exercise helps build a puppy's confidence and teaches them to be calm in a specific spot, which is very useful at home.

I teach puppies like Max the Labrador that the crate is their safe and happy place. Using positive reinforcement, he learns to enter the crate on command, making management at home much easier for his family.

Here I am shaping the 'down' behavior with a young Belgian Malinois puppy using a box. This technique helps the puppy understand the position naturally without any force, building a positive association with training.

This German Shepherd puppy is learning body awareness and confidence by interacting with a box. Early exposure to different objects and surfaces helps create a more stable and less fearful adult dog.

This is Daina, a female puppy from my own breeding, learning to go into a box on command. This shaping game is an early step in teaching commands and building a working relationship.

I'm teaching this working German Shepherd puppy the fundamentals of pivoting. This is a foundational skill for more advanced heeling work later on, teaching the dog to be aware of its rear end.

This is Daina, a young Belgian Malinois, doing her first agility exercises. We are using simple objects to build her confidence and introduce her to the fun of navigating obstacles.

Dash, a Belgian Malinois puppy, is learning to walk across a raised plank. This exercise is great for building confidence, balance, and trust between a puppy and its handler.

About Puppy's First Steps

Instead of forcing positions, I use a specific 'box method' for puppies as young as 60 days. By encouraging them to interact with a simple box, I teach body awareness and rear-end pivoting naturally. It builds their confidence and helps them understand commands without any pressure, making early training a game rather than a chore.
