About Meet Our Founder
When you meet Amrita, the conversation is rarely just about color palettes or furniture trends. Amrita started I M Design & Development with a clear mission: to move away from cookie-cutter designs that look the same in every home. She argues that your surroundings dictate your mood, which is why her approach centers on what she calls the 'psychology of space'.
Our process is entirely collaborative. We take the lead from your initial sketches through to the final handing over of keys, meaning you do not have to juggle multiple vendors or worry about small details falling through the cracks. We lean heavily into biophilic design—integrating natural light, greenery, and raw materials like wood and stone—to create a sense of harmony between your indoor life and the outside world.
