About 'Tarulya' Annual Showcase: Center Stage!
It is not just a standard recital; it is a full-scale production. When we prep for Tarulya, we focus on more than just steps. We work on stage presence, costume coordination, and the discipline required to hold a pyramid formation under live lighting. You will see your child transition from a student in our Kandivali studio to a performer who truly owns the stage.
Tarulya is the soul of the IMAD School of Performing Arts. It is where all our in-studio training, gymnastics practice, and dance rehearsals come together for an audience. We believe that the real magic happens when students move from private practice to performing for a live crowd.
What Goes Into Our Showcase
- Thematic Storytelling: We don't just dance; we tell stories. You have likely seen our Devi Maa prayer acts or our high-intensity Army-themed gymnastics routines. These performances teach our students how to use movement to convey emotion and discipline.
- Technical Precision: Whether it is a multi-level human pyramid or a synchronized Bollywood routine, our choreography is designed to challenge the students while keeping safety as the priority. We use high-density EVA foam mats during rehearsals so they learn the foundations before they hit the stage.
- Confidence Building: Many of our students start in our beginner batches in Kandivali, Borivali, or Powai. By the time they reach the Tarulya stage, they have learned how to handle the nerves of a live performance, how to work as a cohesive unit, and how to cheer for their teammates.
