Modern Living Room TV Units & Custom Feature Walls
I design living room entertainment zones that are practical and look sharp, using high-quality materials built to last.

This before and after clip shows the journey of a living room wall. I started with the basic plywood structure and finished with a beautiful, modern TV unit featuring a marble-look panel, warm backlighting, and a sleek console, all under a newly designed false ceiling.
Here’s a look at a TV unit I built, combining a large marble-finish back panel with vertical wooden fluting on the side. This design is simple, clean, and modern, showing how different textures can work together to create an elegant focal point in the living room.
This TV panel design mixes three different materials for a unique look: a white marble-style laminate, dark grey fluted panels, and light wood accents. The unit also includes open shelves with built-in lighting to display decor items.
A simple yet effective TV wall design. I used a combination of dark fluted panels and a lighter wood-finish floating console and back panel. The contrast creates a modern and sophisticated look that is perfect for any living room.
In this project, I designed a TV unit that also incorporates a beautiful pooja mandir. The temple has a custom CNC-cut door with traditional motifs, creating a dedicated spiritual space right within the main living area.

About Living Rooms & TV Units
I build TV units that don't just look good but actually solve the clutter problem. Every unit I design includes dedicated cable management and sturdy, moisture-resistant plywood frames, so your setup stays clean and stable for years. Whether we go for a high-gloss marble finish or fluted panels with backlighting, the focus is always on a finish that lasts.
When you are planning your living room, the TV unit is the main focus. It is where you spend most of your time with family. My approach is simple: I use commercial grade BWP plywood and HDHMR boards because a living room needs to handle daily wear and tear. I do not use shortcuts that look great for a month but start peeling later.
My Design Process
- Material Selection: I prefer UV marble-finish sheets for the backdrop because they are easy to clean and look premium without being fragile.
- The Fluted Detail: Vertical wooden-finish fluted panels are currently very popular. I use them to add depth and texture, which breaks the monotony of a flat wall.
- Smart Lighting: I integrate profile lighting and LED strips behind the TV panel. This does not just look modern; it creates a soft, ambient glow that prevents eye strain when you are watching TV at night.
- Functionality: If you have limited space, I build vertical display shelves or handleless cabinets into the unit to maximize your storage for books, decor, or electronics.
I often incorporate other needs into the living room wall, such as a hidden Pooja unit with CNC jaali work or a dedicated console for your sound system. Everything is built to order, so you get exactly what fits your wall size and budget. My goal is to ensure that when the job is done, the room feels completely new and reflects your personal style.
