About Hip Hop & Commercial Street Style
When you step into my studio, we don't just mimic steps. I focus on breaking down musicality so you understand why the movement lands on that specific beat. Whether we are tackling a tight commercial groove or heavy hip hop, we spend the first twenty minutes just waking up the muscles so you feel comfortable enough to really let go and bring your own flavor to the routine.
My approach to teaching Hip Hop and Commercial street style is rooted in my training at the Broadway Dance Centre, but the vibe is all about 'Regulars w/ RB'. I believe dance is a space beyond right and wrong, and my goal is to make sure you feel that freedom from day one.
What to Expect
Each session is an intense 90 to 120 minutes. We start with a dedicated 15 to 20 minute fitness and warm-up segment. This is crucial because street style requires stamina and control. After that, we dive into choreography where we work on formation, spatial awareness, and the 'swag' that makes a routine stand out. You won't just learn steps, you will learn how to own them.
My Training Locations
I conduct classes across various premium venues in Delhi NCR to keep the community accessible. You can find me leading sessions at IFBC Studios in Saket, the ASIAD Community Centre in Siri Fort, The Culture Studios in East Patel Nagar, and the Creative Detox Studio in Greater Kailash. All these spaces are equipped with professional sprung wood flooring to protect your joints while you go all out.
