I document the divine chaos of Holi in Mathura, Vrindavan, and Barsana. Using my drone and camera, I capture the energy of this festival from the skies and the streets.

This drone video shows the Holi celebrations at Nandgaon temple from directly above. You can see the courtyard filled with people and a storm of colored powder, a truly unique perspective on the festival of colors.

Amidst the frenzy of Holi, I captured this moment of serene joy on an elderly man's face. His beard is colored blue, and his expression is one of pure bliss, a reminder that peace can be found even in the midst of chaos.

An aerial glimpse of Nandgaon, the village where Lord Krishna spent his childhood. This drone shot, captured just before Janmashtami, shows the temple and the surrounding town, setting a divine scene.

A kaleidoscope of colors from the sky. This is my drone shot of Holi at Nandgaon Temple, where the swirls of gulal create a living piece of art, symbolizing love, unity, and celebration.

This top-down drone shot of Holi in Vrindavan is one of my signature clicks. It captures the divine chaos and vibrant energy as people come together in a swirling vortex of color and joy.

An aerial view of Nand Bhavan in Nandgaon, the historic residence of Lord Krishna's foster father. This drone shot captures the temple complex where the famous Lathmar Holi celebrations take place.

A drone shot of the Shri Radha Rani Temple in Barsana. This historic temple, dedicated to the goddess Radha, is a major center for Holi festivities and looks magnificent from the sky.

About Holi in Braj: A Riot of Colors from the Sky

When I shoot Holi in Mathura or Barsana, I am not just standing on the sidelines. I am up at sunrise with my DJI Mini 3 Pro to catch that first light hitting the temples, then moving into the crowd for the ground-level portraits. My gear, including the Sony ZV-E1 and Tamron lens, is weather-sealed and ready for the gulal, so we do not have to worry about the dust while you focus on the prayer.
