Witness how our volunteer drives transform barren land into native Aravali forests. Join us to restore the biodiversity that belongs here.

A volunteer from NatWest Group India waters a newly planted native Aravali sapling at Ghata Bundh. This simple act is a vital step in ensuring the survival of young trees in our restoration projects.

Our team briefs a group of 40 volunteers from NatWest Group India at Ghata Bundh. We believe in not just planting, but also educating our partners about the story of the land and its ecological importance.

Corporate volunteers from NatWest Group India diligently water young saplings at Ghata Bundh. Consistent care is essential for the saplings to establish strong roots and thrive in the Aravali landscape.

A guided walk for our corporate partners at a restoration site. We show them the contrast between the concrete jungle in the background and the green oasis we are creating together.

This collage captures the spirit of a massive eco-restoration drive with our partner Genpact at Aravali Creek. It shows volunteers planting, our experts guiding them, and the vibrant green result of their efforts.

A collage showcasing the incredible energy of our planting drive with Genpact. Teams of employees are seen planting saplings and proudly holding signs that say "Save the Earth," embodying the spirit of collective action.

This collage highlights the diverse activities during a corporate planting day. From our experts addressing the volunteers to the close-up of a healthy new plant, it shows the holistic nature of our restoration events.

"Planting is a very misused word." A representative from our partner Bry-Air shares her insights on the importance of planting the right species with proper long-term care, highlighting why our scientific approach is so effective.

One year makes a world of difference. Our rewilding expert, Vijay Dhasmana, shows the growth of native species like Dhok and Karonda planted last year, while a new team from Optum India begins their own restoration journey.

A volunteer from our long-standing partner, NTT DATA, carefully places a native Aravali sapling into the soil along the banks of the Sector 56 creek. This helps strengthen the creek and prevent erosion.

About Powered by People: Community & Corporate Action

Planting a tree is only the beginning of restoration. We focus on ecological intelligence, ensuring each sapling is a native Aravali species chosen to survive on seasonal rain rather than daily care, creating self-sustaining habitats that actually last.

Beyond Planting: A Scientific Approach

True restoration is not about the quantity of saplings in the ground, but the quality of the habitat created. When we invite corporate teams, schools, and residents to our sites at Ghata Bundh or the Aravali Creek, we are not just hosting a plantation drive. We are transferring the knowledge of why specific plants like Dhok or Karonda belong in our semi-arid landscape.

Most plantation projects fail because they lack long-term oversight. We change that by integrating 3-year maintenance plans into our work. This includes pit digging in rocky terrain, organic manuring, and protection against cattle grazing. When you join us, you become part of that cycle, from the initial planting to the monitoring that ensures a 95% survival rate.

Our Collaborative Approach

  • Ecological Education: Every drive includes a briefing on the land’s history and the specific role of the saplings being planted.
  • Hands-on Action: We guide volunteers through the technicalities, from proper sapling placement to soil health checks.
  • Building Resilience: We focus on re-hydrating the landscape by de-silting water bodies and creating corridors that allow native birds and insects to return.

By connecting with us, your team directly contributes to reclaiming the green lungs of our city. It is hard, dirty work, but it creates a tangible legacy that survives long after the drive concludes.
