We don't just teach karate; we build champions. Our belt grading system provides a clear path for students to track their growth from the first white belt to the coveted black belt.

A significant moment for every student. Here, I am awarding a new belt, which is a symbol of their hard work, dedication, and progress on their karate journey.

Six years of hard work paying off. This moment, awarding a black belt, represents a long journey of commitment, perseverance, and mastery of the art.

After an eight-year journey of dedication, Vigneshwar receives his Black Belt. We stand by our students through years of training to help them achieve their goals.

A proud day for our students and their families. We believe parents are a crucial part of our community, and their support is vital to our students' success.

A hall full of students ready to be promoted to their next belt level. Our grading events are a testament to the growing strength and skill within our club.

As an instructor, I demonstrate the correct form and intensity required during a belt exam, ensuring our standards of excellence are clear to every student.

About this collection

We don't just hand out belts. Before any student steps on the mat for a grading exam, they go through intense preparation in Kihon, Kata, and Kumite. We track every bit of their progress quarterly through our app, ensuring they are physically and mentally ready before they test. If you are looking for a dojo that values substance over ceremony, this is it.

At Horizon Champions Club, a belt is not just a piece of fabric; it is a record of a student’s journey. Our grading exams are held every four months, serving as a milestone to test the discipline, focus, and technical skills our students develop in our Choodasandra, Sarjapur Road, Begur-Koppa Road, and Electronic City locations.

The Path to Mastery

We follow the traditional Shito-Ryu style. A grading exam is not a surprise test; it is the final demonstration of weeks of preparation. Students are assessed on:

  • Kihon (Basics): The foundational stances, blocks, punches, and kicks that build muscle memory.
  • Kata (Forms): The rhythm and balance required to execute sequences with precision.
  • Kumite (Sparring): Safe, supervised combat where students demonstrate control and reflexes.

Strictly and Sweetly

We teach with a balance of strict technique and emotional support. We understand that parents place immense trust in us to keep their children safe and confident. Our quarterly progress reports, available through our student app, keep parents informed about their child's technical development.

Whether it is a Tiny Ninja (2-4 years) earning their first colored stripe or a Young Warrior testing for a black belt after years of training, every graduation is a community celebration. We focus on the 'champion mindset,' ensuring that the discipline learned on the tatami mat translates into their daily lives. Our dojos are not just places to train; they are sanctuaries where we defend dreams, one belt at a time.
