Creating a custom sculpture is a partnership. Here is how I collaborate with you to transform a raw vision into a finished, installed piece of metal art.

About The Process: From Studio Sketch to Final Installation

I do not just deliver a sculpture and leave. My process starts with a site study to understand your lighting, wall texture, and furniture layout. For custom projects, I coordinate directly with your architect to handle structural ribbing and weight-bearing requirements, ensuring your installation is secure and perfectly positioned.

The Collaborative Journey

A custom sculpture is a dialogue between your vision and my medium. Because I work primarily with stainless steel, technical precision is just as important as the aesthetic.

Step 1: Concept & Consultation

We start with a conversation about your space. I want to understand what you are trying to evoke—is it the raw power of a bull or the fluidity of a cosmic meteor? If you have an interior designer or architect, I prefer to sync with them early. This prevents issues with mounting hardware or wall capacity later.

Step 2: Visualizing the Final Look

Before I touch the metal, I provide digital mockups. I overlay the proposed sculpture onto a photo of your wall. This gives you a clear sense of scale, color finish, and how the piece interacts with your furniture. It removes the guesswork about whether a 4-foot or 8-foot piece is right for your room.

Step 3: Fabrication & Logistics

Everything happens in my studio. I hand-fold the stainless steel, which creates that fluid, reflective look. If you are ordering a large-scale piece, I design it in segmented parts. This is a practical necessity so that the sculpture can be transported through your building's elevators and staircases without damage.

Step 4: Installation

Installation is where the artwork meets the wall. I bring my own team of technicians to handle the heavy lifting. We use concealed mounts for a floating effect and ensure the piece is perfectly leveled and secure, especially on premium surfaces like Italian marble or veneer. The final step is always on-site tuning, adjusting the angles to ensure the light and shadow interplay is exactly as intended.

I transitioned from a business background to sculpting, driven by the urge to transform rigid steel into something fluid. I collaborate closely with you to ensure every piece doesn't just hang on a wall, but becomes part of your home's character.
