The Meteor Series: Stainless Steel Wall Installations
I hand-fold stainless steel to capture the interplay of light and shadow, turning rigid industrial material into something fluid and alive. Each piece in the Meteor series interacts with your space, changing its look as the day moves.
"Meteor 145" is a celebration of joy suspended in time. The colorful polka dots seem to float on the reflective, undulating surface of the stainless steel, creating a playful and energetic wall installation.
A closer look at the vibrant dots on "Meteor 145," showing how they interact with the curves and reflections of the steel.
The fluid form of "Meteor 145" catches light from every angle, making the colors pop against the mirrored background.
This detail shot highlights the three-dimensional quality of the sculpture, where the steel appears to be in motion.

"Meteor 142" is an abstract wall sculpture that appears like a sheet of liquid metal frozen in a moment of movement.
This video shows the liquid-like reflections on "Meteor 128." The warm, coppery tones shift and flow, making the solid steel appear like molten flame.
"Meteor 128" is a study in form and tension. The circular piece, finished in a fiery orange hue, captures the quiet drama of light bending across a sculpted surface.
About The Meteor Series: Sculpting Light and Fluidity
When choosing a piece from the Meteor series, consider your ambient light first. Because I use a 'Super Mirror' No. 8 finish, these sculptures act like liquid mirrors, pulling the colors and motion of your room into the artwork itself. The installation uses a concealed aluminum rail system, so the sculpture appears to float off your wall without any visible screws or brackets.
The Art of Hand-Folding
Unlike mass-produced decor, every Meteor sculpture is hand-folded in my studio. I do not use stamped molds. I work with SS 304 grade sheet metal, which is rust-resistant and ideal for the humid conditions we often face in India. By manually manipulating the steel, I create unique, organic forms that catch light differently from every angle.
Designing for Your Space
These pieces are not one-size-fits-all. When you commission a work, we look at the specific wall where it will live. I create a digital mockup to ensure the scale works for your furniture and room dimensions. For larger installations, I use internal structural ribbing to prevent warping and ensure the piece remains rigid over time.
The Finish
I offer several finishes, from the classic Mirror Silver to vibrant PVD color coatings like Gold, Rose Gold, Black, or Electric Blue. If you prefer a subtle look, we can discuss airbrushed gradients that shift the mood of the room.
Installation
Because I often work with architects and designers, I understand the need for a clean, professional finish. Whether you are mounting on Italian marble, wallpaper, or a painted brick wall, my team ensures the hardware is hidden. For local Mumbai projects, I provide an on-site visit to check lighting and weight-bearing specifications before we finalise the design.
