Behind the Scenes: The Art of Bridal Mehendi
Watch how a blank palm turns into a detailed bridal design. This is how I prepare my henna and draft every motif, from initial outlines to the final stain.
Watch as I bring traditional bridal elements to life. This video shows the process of drawing a kalash, shehnai, and tabla on the palm.

About Behind the Scenes: The Art in Progress
I use an equal measurement technique to ensure the intricate jaali patterns match perfectly between your left and right arms, keeping the henna symmetry exact. It takes patience to build these dense designs, but that slow, steady hand is the only way to get a deep, rich maroon stain once the henna dries.
My process begins long before the first line is drawn. I work with 100% organic, triple-sifted henna powder, which I mix with essential oils myself to ensure it is chemical-free and safe for your skin. When I arrive at your home in Andheri or Palghar, I set up a dedicated space for the application. For bridal designs, this can take anywhere from 3.5 to 9 hours depending on the complexity of your chosen style.
I focus heavily on storytelling elements. If you want a portrait, a skyline of your favorite city, or the initials of your family members, I sketch these details carefully. The key is in the fine-tip cone work. I use specific shading techniques to add depth to figures, and my signature sealants like lemon-sugar spray are applied to lock in the color. Because I travel to you, you can stay comfortable while I work on your hands and feet. This preparation is what results in that rich, dark stain you want for your wedding day.
