About The Art of Hair Colour
Before applying any colour, I personally perform a cortex analysis to calculate exactly how your hair will react to the chemicals. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all. Whether you want a soft honey-gold glow or a bold crimson transformation, I customize the developer ratio to ensure your hair stays strong and shiny, not brittle.
Getting your hair coloured is a big decision, and it is about more than just picking a shade from a chart. My process at the studio is built on the belief that a good colour job should feel just as healthy as it looks.
The Process Matters
When you come in for a global colour or highlights, I start by looking at your hair's current health. If your hair has been damaged by previous styling or heat, I adjust the application to prevent further breakage. I use professional-grade Streax products because they allow for better control during the colouring process. For highlights, I use precise foil weaving to ensure the colour has dimension and doesn't look like a solid block of paint.
Why Maintenance is Key
Colouring is only the first step. You need to put in some 'mehnat' (effort) after you leave the studio. I always advise my clients to invest in a good colour-lock shampoo and conditioner. Avoid washing your hair in extremely hot water as it strips the colour, and try to let your hair dry completely before you tie it up in a bun or ponytail.
