Bring a little desert charm into your home or office. These hardy, low-maintenance beauties are the perfect way to add life to your desk or sunny windowsill.
Here is a look at the sheer variety of succulents and cacti I cultivate and stock. From trays of young Burro's Tail succulents to colorful grafted moon cacti, there's a huge selection to choose from.
A closer look at some of my favorite succulents and cacti. Notice the vibrant colors of the moon cactus, the unique textures of different echeverias, and the interesting shapes that make these plants so popular.
About Succulents & Cacti Corner
Succulents aren't just for looking at, they need the right start. I always recommend using a well-draining, porous soil mix specifically for succulents, not standard garden soil, to prevent root rot. If you are a beginner, start with Echeveria or Haworthia; they are forgiving and thrive with minimal watering, making them ideal for the fast-paced Mumbai lifestyle.
Why Succulents and Cacti Rule
City life is fast, and we often forget to slow down. Succulents and cacti are my favorite solution for busy people who still want a touch of green. They don't demand daily attention, they don't complain if you miss a watering, and they fit perfectly into small spaces like desks or narrow windowsills.
What You Will Find at My Studio
I have carefully selected varieties that do well in our local climate. Whether you want the vibrant colors of a Moon Cactus or the intricate geometric patterns of an Echeveria, my collection is curated to offer something different from the standard market options. You can find:
- Moon Cactus: These pop with neon colors and add instant energy to any corner.
- Echeveria and Haworthia: Perfect for beginners due to their hardy nature.
- Burro's Tail: Great for hanging setups or shelves where they can trail.
My Advice for Happy Plants
Buying a plant is just the start of our journey together. Here is the golden rule I tell all my clients: let the soil dry out completely between waterings. These plants store water in their leaves, so overwatering is the only real enemy. Place them where they get plenty of bright, indirect light—a sunny windowsill is usually best. If you visit my studio in CBD Belapur, I can show you exactly how to check the soil moisture and pick the right pot to keep them healthy. And if you are ever unsure, just reach out. I am happy to help with pest checks or repotting if your plant outgrows its home.
