Romantic Couple Portraits for Your Engagement
I step away with you during the ceremony for a short, quiet session. These are the moments where you can actually breathe and let your real connection show, without the crowd.
A candid, romantic portrait of a couple sharing a look of love, framed by lush greenery. I use natural elements to create a soft, intimate feel for my couple photoshoots.
A dramatic and artistic portrait using red backlighting. The silhouette effect creates a moody and passionate image, highlighting the couple's connection in a unique way.
Capturing pure, uninhibited laughter. This photo shows the couple looking up and laughing together, a perfect example of the candid, joyful moments I love to document.
A quiet, intimate portrait of a couple standing forehead to forehead under natural foliage. This kind of shot is perfect for capturing the peaceful, loving connection between two people.
A bright and happy portrait of a couple sharing a candid moment. The genuine smiles and natural light through the intricate window create a warm and joyful photograph.
An emotional and tender portrait of a couple in a close embrace. The warm, soft lighting from the hanging bulbs adds to the romantic and intimate atmosphere of the wedding day.
A sweet moment between the couple, highlighting the bride's traditional green bangles. This portrait combines romance with important cultural details of a Maharashtrian engagement.
About this collection
During the chaos of a ring ceremony, I like to whisk you away for 15 minutes. It gives us a pocket of time to capture those quiet, forehead-to-forehead moments that are impossible to get in the middle of a crowded stage. These shots are not about stiff poses or fake smiles, but about finding a bit of calm to document the chemistry you share.
My approach to couple portraits balances two different styles. First, there is the raw, unscripted candid approach. I observe how you hold hands, how you lean into each other, and the specific way you laugh when no one else is looking. This is where the magic happens, especially when you are caught up in the rituals of a Maharashtrian ceremony.
Then, we do the directed portraits. I use natural light or creative backlighting to frame you in a way that feels cinematic. If you have chosen a venue in Mumbai with specific architectural elements, I incorporate those into your frames. Whether we are shooting at a private property or a hotel ballroom, I look for textures and light that highlight your attire and the significance of the day.
I deliver high-resolution, color-corrected JPEGs. You will see both the vibrant energy of the celebrations and the softer, intimate side of your relationship. My goal is for you to look back at these portraits in years to come and feel exactly how you felt in that moment.

I am Abi from Highkey. I am the guy who waits for the quiet look behind the noise of the ring exchange. I do not believe in forcing smiles, because the best portraits happen when you two finally stop and just look at each other.
