About The Art in Process

I don’t just apply henna, I make the paste myself using fresh, organic ingredients right here in my Kaggadasapura studio. When you ßook a session, we are not just sitting through hours of drawing; we are using this time to slow down before the wedding buzz takes over. You will see me mixing the batch 24 to 48 hours before your date to ensure that deep, rich maroon stain everyone looks for.

The Ritual of the Paste

It starts in my kitchen, not at your venue. I believe the quality of the stain is 50% application and 50% the paste itself. That is why I hand-mix every batch of organic henna using essential oils like lavender and eucalyptus. I do not touch chemical cones; they are unsafe and never give that natural mahogany color that lasts.

Precision Over Speed

Applying henna is a flow state for me. Whether I am drawing a simple mandala or a dense, full-arm design, I need to be in the zone. You will notice in my process that I prefer a slow, steady hand. This ensures that every line has a clean edge and every dot is perfectly round. For my ßridal clients, this session is meant to be a chill space. Put on some music, have a snack, and let us turn your hands into a canvas before the wedding chaos begins.

Weaving Your Story

This is the part I love most. Your mehendi should not look like everyone else's. During our consultation, we map out the design. Do you want your groom's name hidden? A skyline that represents where you met? Or maybe a specific lotus motif? I sketch these elements directly onto the skin with the cone, ensuring your design is one of a kind. This is the art of storytelling through henna, and I am here to help you bring those memories to life on your skin.
