From the vast plains of the Masai Mara to the dense forests of Uganda, this is my African diary. Every frame here captures the raw, wild spirit of the continent I hold dear.

A royal dispute in the Masai Mara. A lioness snarls at the male during a mating ritual, a tense and powerful interaction that is common between courting pairs.

All eyes on the main character. A cheetah walks with purpose through the tall grass of the Masai Mara, seemingly unfazed by the herd of wildebeest in the background.

Cute conversations in the wild. A baby elephant plays in a lush green swamp in Amboseli, interacting with a cattle egret that has landed nearby.

A synchronized swimming team of Great White Pelicans at Lake Nakuru, Kenya. This video captures their cooperative fishing behavior as they dip their large beaks into the water in unison.

There is beauty in simplicity. This high-key, black and white photograph of three giraffes in the Masai Mara creates an artistic and minimalist composition, focusing on their elegant forms.

Me on dieting watching everyone eat Diwali ladoos. A hippopotamus peeks just its eyes and ears above the water in Uganda's Kazinga Channel, watching the world go by.

A lone elephant walks along the horizon under a vast, dramatic sky in the Masai Mara. This black and white silhouette emphasizes the solitude and grandeur of the African landscape.

Elephant vibes only. A mother and calf stand together in Amboseli National Park as a hot air balloon drifts in the distance, creating a magical and uniquely African scene.

Two young hippos engage in a play fight in the Kazinga Channel, their massive jaws wide open. This is how they practice for the serious territorial battles they will face as adults.

A herd of elephants marches in a line across the vast plains of Amboseli under a stormy, dramatic sky. The image conveys their strong family bonds and their relentless journey for survival.

About African Journey

My African prints are produced on archival cotton rag paper using 12 color pigment inks, ensuring the dust in the Amboseli light or the texture of a lion's mane remains vibrant for over 80 years. Every print comes with a specific story card detailing the animal's behavior and the location, because I believe knowing the subject's life makes the art worth hanging in your home.
