Witness the scale and quiet dignity of the savanna’s most iconic figures. From Amboseli’s legendary tuskers to graceful giraffes, these fine art prints bring the raw, grounding power of the wild directly into your space.

In the simplicity of the wild, happiness is complete. This moment at the waterhole, with the zebras and their perfect reflections, is a beautiful example of nature's own art.

Which do you prefer, color or monochrome? In full color, you can appreciate the warm tones of Craig's skin and the vibrant blue of the African sky. He is a true giant in a world of color.

In a vanishing world of giants, Craig remains. He is a timeless, majestic, and eternal symbol of what we must protect. This print captures his magnificent journey through Amboseli.

This fine art print of Craig is a tribute to one of the last great tuskers. His presence is a powerful reminder of the beauty and fragility of the wild.

Towers of the savanna. There's a unique thrill in seeing these graceful giants against the open sky. Their elegant forms and gentle nature are a joy to photograph.

Craig, The Almighty. Finding him is always the highlight of my trips to Amboseli. He is more than just an elephant; he is a personal connection, a symbol of everything we fight to protect.

Those tusks, almost scraping the ground, are a humbling sight. They tell a story of survival, resilience, and the incredible history of this magnificent animal.

The Tuskers of Amboseli. Even on a cloudy day, the presence of these giants is awe-inspiring. This image captures the moody, atmospheric beauty of the savanna.

About Giants of the Land: Elephants, Rhinos, and Giraffes

When choosing a print, the finish matters. I personally select either a matte or luster finish for each image based on its specific contrast levels, ensuring the light hits the print exactly the way it did when I was out in the Amboseli savanna. Each piece is finished on 300+ GSM archival cotton rag paper, rated for 75 to 100 years of fade resistance, so your memory of the wild stays as vivid as the day it was captured.

A Story on Your Wall

Bringing these giants into your home is about more than decoration. It is about connection. When I spend hours waiting for a super tusker like Craig to step into the light, I am not just looking for a shot. I am looking for the moment that defines their character—the way they walk, the texture of their skin, and that ancient, humbling presence.

Choosing Your Medium

I offer three ways to display these stories, each serving a different visual purpose:

  • Archival Giclee Prints: These are for those who appreciate the tactile feel of fine art paper. I use 300+ GSM archival cotton rag paper that captures deep blacks and soft highlights. These come rolled, allowing you to choose your own framing style.
  • Gallery Wrapped Canvas: This mimics the look of a traditional painting. Stretched over a 1.5-inch pine frame, these canvas pieces are UV coated, making them ready to hang immediately upon arrival.
  • Acrylic Glass Mount: For a modern, high-impact look, I bond the print to diamond-polished acrylic. This creates a wet, 3D effect that makes the image appear backlit, ideal for spaces that need a focal point.

The Ethics of the Shot

My photography approach remains the same whether I am in Kenya or elsewhere. I prefer a ground-level perspective. It is physically demanding, often resulting in sore knees, but it provides a unique angle that places you at eye-level with the animals. This perspective changes the viewer's relationship with the subject, shifting from looking down at an animal to standing with them. Every print you purchase comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and my signature, ensuring you know exactly where this piece of the wild originated.

I do not just photograph these animals; I learn their stories. Whether I am waiting hours for a glimpse of Craig in Amboseli or tracking giraffes on the horizon, my goal is to share the quiet dignity of these giants. When you hang one of these prints, you are bringing a living memory of the wild into your home.
