About Specialized Dance Styles
If you have been doing Bollywood routines for a while and feel like you have hit a plateau, my weekend fusion sessions are the change you need. We break down the specific mechanics of Salsa partner-work or the controlled transitions of Lyrical Hip-Hop, ensuring you walk away with real technique rather than just memorized steps.
At my studio in Gujranwala Town, I believe that dance is a skill to be developed, not just a workout to endure. My specialized weekend workshops are designed for those who want to get technical about their movement.
Why focus on specialized styles?
Many students come to me wanting to move better but lacking the fundamentals of specific genres.
- Salsa & Latin: We focus on partner mechanics, lead and follow techniques, and rhythm. It is about understanding how to move with another person, not just matching the beat.
- Lyrical & Contemporary: These classes are for the storytellers. We work on fluid transitions, breath control, and using your body to express the emotion of a song.
- Fusion Styles: I love mixing things up. Whether it is 'Bollywood Latino' or 'Tollywood Salsa', these classes take a known track and apply a new technical structure to it.
Class Structure
These are not open-level classes where you just follow the crowd. These are focused sessions held once a week, usually on Sundays, for 60 to 90 minutes. This extended time allows me to break down the moves so you can actually practice the steps at home.
If you are training for an event, or if you just want to add a different flavor to your dance vocabulary, these workshops provide the foundation you need. You don't need a partner for the Salsa classes, and you don't need years of experience for the Contemporary sessions. Just bring your energy and be ready to learn.
