About Framed 3D Crochet Art
You should know that these frames are about 10x8 inches and quite deep, so they stand well on a shelf or hang on a wall using the attached sawtooth hanger. Because I hand-stitch every character and balloon, you can completely customize the colors to match your nursery palette or specific room theme.
These shadow boxes are how I blend my love for amigurumi with home decor. I use pine wood frames because they have a clean, natural look that does not distract from the vibrant crochet colors inside. Every character, whether it is a teddy, elephant, or a custom replica, is stitched with high-density poly-fiberfill so it keeps its shape.
I cover the frame with an acrylic front. This is safer than glass for kids' rooms while keeping the dust away. When you ask for a name, I can add it using vinyl or embroidery on the textured background. It is a nice way to make a keepsake for a new baby or a thoughtful anniversary present. While these are popular for nurseries, I have done many for living rooms and desks.
