This practice design showcases a royal bride and groom, each on a separate panel, framed by traditional Indian arches. I focused on the intricate details of their attire and the delicate lotus and paisley motifs that complete the regal theme.
This video shows the creation of a complex bridal design on a practice sheet. The final piece features a bride in a window, surrounded by dense floral and vine patterns, with peacock and architectural elements on the forearm. This demonstrates how I layer multiple motifs to create a rich and full bridal look.
Here you can see the before and after of a bridal leg design. I started with a simple outline of an elephant under a decorative umbrella and then built up the intricate patterns around it, covering the entire foot with traditional motifs for a complete bridal look.

The Bridal Process
My approach to bridal mehendi is methodical.
- Consultation: We decide on the density of the design. Some brides love a full, elaborate look that goes up to the elbows and knees, while others prefer intricate but spaced-out patterns.
- Customization: This is where the storytelling happens. I sketch the figures and motifs on your hands to ensure the proportions are perfect before the henna touches your skin.
- Technique: I use fine-line techniques, 3D shading, and negative space (reverse filling) to make sure your design pops in your wedding photos.
Travel & Logistics
I am based in Dombivali, Mumbai, but I am happy to travel to your venue across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Whether you are hosting a small, intimate ceremony or a large family wedding, I bring my own cones and supplies, so you do not have to worry about a thing.
