My work isn't just about placing pots. It’s built on Permaculture—a design system that respects nature, reduces waste, and helps your plants thrive with minimal effort.

My Permaculture Design Certification from Aranya Agricultural Alternatives. This 72-hour course was an intensive training in earth care, people care, and fair share, the core ethics of permaculture that I apply to my work.

Receiving my permaculture certificate. Continuous learning is very important to me, and this training has deepened my understanding of creating truly sustainable and regenerative green spaces for my clients.

A memorable moment from my permaculture course, getting our hands dirty making Jeevamrutham, a natural soil conditioner. This hands-on experience is what gardening is all about: connecting directly with the earth.

About The Permaculture Way: My Training

When I apply a Permaculture mindset to your home, it means your garden isn't just a temporary decoration. It is a self-sustaining system. Whether it is how I select your soil mix to prevent root rot or how I set up drainage to avoid water wastage, these aren't just buzzwords. They are practical, proven techniques I learned during my 72-hour certification course, ensuring your home greenery stays lush and healthy with very little effort from you.

Beyond Just Gardening

Many people think gardening is just about picking pretty pots, but real plant health starts with the soil and the system you build around it. My Permaculture training at Aranya Agricultural Alternatives taught me that working with nature is always more effective than fighting it.

The Three Ethics of My Work

Everything I design for you rests on three core pillars:

  • Earth Care: I use organic, well-draining potting mixes and focus on long-term plant health, avoiding chemical fertilizers that harm the soil.
  • People Care: I create gardens that are easy for you to maintain. If you have a busy life in Mumbai, I don’t set you up with high-maintenance plants that die in a week. I choose hardy varieties that thrive.
  • Fair Share: This is about sustainability. I believe in upcycling and reusing what you already have—from old pots to existing planters—rather than encouraging you to throw everything away for the sake of a fresh look.

Practical, Sustainable Design

When I come to your space, I look for ways to make it self-reliant. This could be setting up automatic drip irrigation so your plants get water even when you travel, or using natural top dressing like river stones to retain moisture. I use my training to troubleshoot light, wind, and airflow, turning challenging spaces—like lift lobbies or high-rise balconies—into thriving green corners.

My goal is to give you that same happy feeling I get when I watch my own plants grow. It is not about a quick fix; it is about creating a space that feels like a slice of nature, right here in the city.
