Successful transplantation is not about immediate aesthetics but biological stability. We implement a specific regimen of canopy reduction and root hormone application to mitigate transplant shock. This critical phase requires rigorous post-installation monitoring to ensure vascular recovery, as evidenced by the new foliage growth shown in these projects.
The Science of Tree Survival
Moving a mature tree is a high-risk operation. Our primary objective is to maintain the vascular integrity of the specimen. We achieve this by assessing soil conditions, canopy structure, and root spread long before excavation begins. For trees under 15 feet, we utilize manual extraction and specialized root care. For larger, mature specimens, we employ heavy machinery including JCB backhoes and ACE Mobile Cranes.
Post-Transplant Monitoring

- Canopy Reduction: Pruning 10% to 30% of branches to minimize water demand.
- Root Hormone Treatment: Application of Indole Butyric Acid to stimulate root regeneration.
- Protective Wrapping: Utilizing burlap and fungicides to prevent soil disintegration and pest infestation.
