About Sitter Milestone Sessions (9-10 Months)
The 9 to 10-month mark is the sweet spot for a photoshoot because your baby is social and responsive, but not yet constantly on the move like they are at one year. We dedicate a full two-hour session to ensure there is no rushing, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and outfit changes so your baby stays happy and relaxed throughout.
While a first birthday shoot is popular, many parents find the 9 to 10-month window produces more natural portraits. At this stage, your baby is usually sitting unassisted and has a developing sense of humor, often reacting to simple games or toys with genuine curiosity.
