About Starting Strong: 'Chote Ustad' & 'Blue Cubs' (U7-U12)
We don't just teach kids how to kick a ball. Our U7-U12 sessions, held three evenings a week at local turfs like Hippocampus and Sudama, are designed to mix play with structure. Whether it's the Blue Cubs league matches or simple agility drills, we see the real win when parents tell us their child has gained confidence or improved discipline. You are joining a community that celebrates the small victories as much as the trophies.
When we started the 'Chote Ustad' and 'Blue Cubs' programs, my goal was to change how grassroots football is approached in Dombivli. At this young age—U7 to U12—the focus should never be on pressure. Instead, we use a syllabus aligned with the AIFF Blue Cubs framework, which emphasizes motor skills, agility, and balance through fun, gamified drills.
Why Our Training Works
- Learning Through Play: We move away from boring, repetitive drills. Our U7-U12 batches are designed to keep the energy high and the interest higher.
- Real Match Exposure: Your child won't just train; they will play. Through the Thane Football Association's Blue Cubs League and our own Chote Ustad Trophy, kids get the experience of a match day from a young age.
- Holistic Growth: Football is the tool, but the goal is the child's development. We focus on team spirit, sportsmanship, and discipline, which parents often tell us reflects in their children's school life too.
Batch Logistics
We run evening sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, lasting 90 to 120 minutes. We keep the batches community-sized (about 15-20 students per coach) so that every child gets individual attention from our certified grassroots leaders. Whether we are training at Hippocampus Turf, Prabhakar Sports Arena, or Sudama Turf, the focus remains the same: creating a safe, inclusive space where every child feels like a champion.
