This is a very special project for me, showcasing a beautiful model with vitiligo. My goal was to create a glamorous look that celebrates her unique skin, not just cover it. She is absolutely glowing.
Dusky skin makeup is a difficult task for many, but I love it. In this tutorial, I show you the correct way to color correct and choose a foundation shade to avoid a grey or ashy look. The result is a warm, radiant glow.
About this collection
One of the biggest pitfalls I see with dusky skin makeup is the 'grey' or 'ashy' finish. To avoid this, I never rely on a single foundation shade. For example, I often mix specific NARS shades like Barcelona and Cadiz to get the perfect match for your undertone. We also use orange correctors religiously to neutralize pigmentation before the base goes on, ensuring your skin looks radiant and natural, not masked.

Makeup at Glamfort isn't about 'covering up.' It is about understanding the chemistry of your skin. Whether you are dealing with deep pigmentation, textured skin, or vitiligo, my approach is the same: preparation and correction.
Why Technique Matters
Many artists rush the base, which is why makeup doesn't last. I treat skin prep like a school lesson—if the base isn't right, we don't move forward. We use CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routines with luxury products like Embryolisse and Pixi Glow Tonic. This creates a sweat-resistant barrier, which is essential for Mumbai's humidity.

When working with vitiligo, the goal isn't to create a blank canvas. It is about celebrating your unique features while evening out the tone so you feel comfortable and confident. We focus on high-coverage but lightweight formulas that don't crack or move.
