Advanced Rock Climbing Training in Badami

Badami is renowned for its unique red sandstone, which requires a specific approach to climbing technique and gear management. Our advanced course is designed to transition you from a hobbyist to a technically proficient climber capable of navigating big wall environments.

What we cover

This 14-day intensive course goes deep into the mechanics of climbing. We start with lead climbing, teaching you how to place protection correctly and manage your energy on the wall. You will progress to multi-pitch climbing, which involves setting up anchors, managing rope systems, and coordinating movements with a partner across long, vertical distances.

Technical rescue and safety

Climbing is inherently risky, so our curriculum places heavy emphasis on self-rescue techniques and emergency response. You will learn how to perform assisted rappels, manage stretcher evacuations, and troubleshoot common stuck-rope scenarios. We provide all the technical gear, including dynamic ropes, helmets, and harnesses, but your progress depends on your willingness to learn and apply these safety protocols.

The Badami experience

You will be living on-site at our base camp to immerse yourself in the training. This is a practical, hands-on environment where your days start with physical training to build the endurance needed for long climbs. Upon successful completion of the practical and theory exams, you will receive a GETHNAA certification, a recognized credential for those looking to pursue advanced mountaineering or professional climbing paths.
