Meet Mamppi: The Wellness Approach to Grooming
I’m a certified canine aesthetician on a mission to prove that grooming is health, not just vanity. Here is the story behind my 'comfort-first' philosophy.
My journey started with my own dog, Aby. Wanting to groom her myself led me to discover my passion, and I eventually pursued professional certification to combine my love for animals with my creative side.
Opening my own salon in collaboration with Therpup was a dream come true. It marked the beginning of my journey to provide high-quality, ethical grooming to as many pets as possible.

About this collection
I wasn't always a professional groomer. I spent years working as an analyst, but the urge to create a truly healthy grooming experience for my own dogs, Aby and Polo, led me to switch careers. When I hold your dog on my table, I don't just see a client, I see a personality. If a dog is matted, I don't pull at the knots, I shave. Why? Because comfort beats vanity every single time. My salon is built on the belief that a perfect haircut is useless if your dog is stressed.
My journey began with a simple need: I couldn't find a place that prioritized health over 'looking cute.' I realized that so many skin issues—dandruff, hotspots, and that persistent 'wet dog' smell—were being masked rather than fixed. That frustration is why I became a certified canine aesthetician and opened my own spaces in Whitefield and Sarjapur.
At Therpup, we do things differently. We don't rush. If your dog is anxious, we slow down. If your dog has skin issues, we don't just bathe them; we use medical-grade Ozone Bubble Spa treatments to tackle bacteria and yeast at the source.
I treat every pet like I treat my own, Aby. I also believe in educating you. I’ll show you how to 'line brush' at home so you don't have to deal with painful mats later. Arre, it’s all about a partnership. You keep up the maintenance, and I will handle the professional wellness part. Together, we keep your pet happy and healthy.
