Habits, Not Hardship: Sustainable Fitness by Punam
Fitness isn't about punishing yourself with crash diets. It's about small, consistent changes that actually stick. Here is how I build a routine that fits your chaotic life.
Here are 5 simple wellness tips for happy living. It all starts with the basics. My coaching focuses on creating a lifestyle, not just a workout plan.
Wellness Tip: Eat balanced meals. Providing your body with essential nutrients is key to keeping your energy levels steady throughout the day.
Wellness Tip: Get enough sleep. Good sleep is crucial for improving your mood, boosting your immune system, and enhancing your overall health. It's a non-negotiable for me.
Wellness Tip: Exercise regularly. Whether it's walking, yoga, or strength training, regular exercise improves both your physical and mental well-being.
Wellness Tip: Practice mindfulness. Simple breathing exercises or mindful activities can reduce stress and increase your focus and clarity, especially on busy days.
Did you know exercise has amazing side effects? It can cause an increase in energy, good moods, fat loss, and a dramatic reduction in stress. This is your friendly warning.
Let's talk about three essential vitamins we all need post-30s: Omega-3s, Vitamin D3, and Magnesium. As our bodies change, it's important to support them with the right nutrients.
Let's talk about hair loss in women. This infographic covers five common causes, from nutrient deficiencies to hormonal fluctuations. Early detection and a balanced diet are key.
Did you know certain minerals are key for good sleep? This post explains how magnesium, calcium, and potassium help support your body's natural sleep mechanisms.
What is insulin and why is it important? Understanding how your body processes sugar is the first step to managing your energy levels and overall health.
About Habits, Not Hardship
Many coaches will ask you to buy expensive superfoods, but I don't. My plans are built strictly around your existing kitchen staples like roti, sabzi, and dal, because if you cannot sustain it at home with your family, you will not sustain it at all. We focus on adjusting portions and fixing your sleep schedule before we ever look at high-intensity training.
I spent years believing fitness was a marathon of intense gym sessions and zero carbs. But after having my own baby and reaching 70.1 kg, I realized that approach is not sustainable for most of us. My coaching philosophy, 'Habits, Not Hardship', is about keeping it real for women who are already juggling a dozen other responsibilities.
We do not need fancy ingredients like quinoa or kale to see results. If you are eating home food, we work with that. My coaching process focuses on:
- Mindful Portion Control: You don't quit your family meals, you learn how to balance them for your goals.
- Time-Compressed Training: If you only have 30 minutes, we use supersets to make them count. No gym marathons needed.
- The Foundation: We fix your sleep and hydration first. If your sleep is off, your stress hormones go up, and weight loss stalls. Consistency is impossible if you are exhausted.
'Routine set hai, baaki sab ho jayega'—this is the core of everything I do. Whether you are dealing with PCOS, thyroid issues, or just struggling to find time, we start by making small changes that feel manageable. I am here to be your accountability partner, not a drill sergeant. If you are ready to stop the cycle of 'starting over' every Monday, let's get your routine set.

I’m Punam, and yes, I’m a fitness coach, but I’m a mom first. I know exactly how it feels to have zero energy and even less time, so I keep my routines short and simple. I’m here to help you stop the 'tumse na hopayega' talk and start building habits that actually last.
